She lived in Corpus Christi for 39 years. She formerly lived at 2601 Lynch. She was born, reared and educated in Terrell, Indian Territory, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vera W. Claitor, and Mrs. Ruth W. Garrett, both of Corpus Christi; one son, R. Raymond Ward of Lewisville, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Chloe Durham of Prague, Oklahoma; one brother, William R. Ueltzen of Prague, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Seaside Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Marion Holloway, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
