Mrs. Maudie Denham, LinCo Native, Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Maudie Bell Denham, 80, Danville, died Monday at 5:30 a m. at the Fort Logan Hospital after, a long illness.
She was a native of Lincoln County and a member of the Danville Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil Denham, Danville; three daughters, Mrs. Nina Durham, Danville, and Mrs. Iva Scars and Mrs. Delia Bishop both of Covington; four sons Llnvd and Bob Denham, both of Stanford; Lee Denham, Ludlow. and Fred Denham, Richmond, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Vida Durham, McKinney; a brother, Ollie Baugh, McKinney; five half-sisters, Mrs. Carrie Fletcher, Mrs. Rexie Milbern and ' Mrs. Myrtle Hensley, all of McKinney; Mrs. Sabra Toombs, New Salem and Mrs. Lula Terry Detroit; 24 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m., at the Morgan and Fox Funeral Home by Mr. Larry Barker.
Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers Arrangements were handled by Morgan and Fox Funeral Home.
