Lucille Harvey, 75, of Logansport, LA, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at her residence. She was born May 28, 1938 in Logansport, LA to Wright Burkett and Mittie Lee Strong Burkett. Mrs. Harvey enjoyed reading, quilting and crocheting. She was known for the beautiful white afghans that she crocheted as wedding gifts. She was happiest when she was in the company of her family, especially her precious grandsons, who called her Honey.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, TX. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Gordon Vaughn and Bro. Lance Cypert officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley, TX.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Harvey, Jerred Harvey, Trey Harvey, Eddy Settle, Daniel McSwain and Andy Winham.
