BRADBY, William Porterfield, 68, of Charles City, departed this life January 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret V. and Robert E. Bradby; and son, Marlon W. Bradby. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Yvonne W. Bradby; two daughters, Jenine L. Cotman (Alonzo) and Lekisha C. Hampton; son, Martin J. Bradby (Cathrine); seven grandchildren, one great- grandchild; three sisters, Agnes Bradby, Mary Lee Brinson (Otto) and Barbara Smith (Freddie); brother, Robert Bradby; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held Saturday, January 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Little Elam Baptist Church, 8840 Church Lane, Charles City, Va. Rev. Frank Long officiating. Rev. Dr. Charlotte Harris, eulogist. Interment church cemetery.
