AILOR, MR. EARL JAMES (E.J.), SR. - age 86, of Maynardville, born October 12, 1927 and passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014. Owner and operator of Ailor Mortuary for a number of years. He was preceded in death by parents, Earl J. and Thelma Ailor. Survived by: sister, Phyllis George. Receiving of friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, and on Sunday, January 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 8:00 p.m., in Byrds Chapel, Rev. Phillip King and Rev. Gary Beeler officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 20, at Byrds Mortuary to proceed to Carr Cemetery, in Maynardville, for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Byrds Mortuary, Maynardville.
