Hetlage was born April 11, 1925, in Medford, to Alexander and Frances Wickman Daniel. She married Raymond Hetlage in 1944 in Medford. He died in 1982.
She had lived in Lane County for 60 years, living in Eugene and Cottage Grove in addition to Springfield. Hetlage was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to sing in her church choir and at senior centers.
Survivors include two sons, Ray of Portland and John of Federal Way, Wash.; three daughters, Bernita Eagleman of Roseburg and Lucy Spence and Marie Weston, both of Medford; 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Luella Hetlage, and a son, Joseph, died previously.
Saturday's service and inurnment will be held at 3 p.m. at Rock Point Cemetery in Gold Hill.
The Nov. 9 memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Alice Catholic Church in Springfield. Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
