Louise Hill, 86, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014.

Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home with Deacon Willy Montano of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Deacon Willy Montano as celebrant. Burial will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Louise loved to travel the world and spend time with all her grandchildren. She was fun-loving, carefree and lived life to the fullest. She loved to dance. There was never a dull moment at her home, whether she was acting silly with her kids and grandkids or making sure they had a hot meal. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include a sister, Stella Carter of Pagosa Springs Colo.; two sons, Robert Hill and wife Kelley of Amarillo and Charles Hill and wife Karen of San Antonio; a daughter, Karol Hill of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Family services have already taken place. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Louise was born July 31, 1927, in Los Mogotes, N.M., to Juan Tobias and Serafina Pino Garcia. She attended school in Wagon Mound before the family moved to San Jon in 1946. Louise was the 1947 graduating class vice president of San Jon High School.

Louise loved to travel and spend time with all of her grandchildren. She particularly enjoyed road trips through New Mexico to visit cousins and was proud of visiting Portugal at age 82. She was fun-loving, carefree and lived life to the fullest.

She loved to dance. There was never a dull moment at her home, whether she was acting silly with her kids and grandkids or making sure they had a hot meal. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Toby Garcia and a sister, Flaminia Minnie Angel.

Survivors include a sister, Stella Carter of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; two sons, Robert Hill and wife Kelley of Amarillo and Charles Hill and wife Karen of San Antonio; a daughter, Karol Hill of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
