Services are to be held at the Kribs Colonial Chapel, Corunna, Monday, Jan 25 at 1 p.m. Pastor Rick Story is to officiate.
Burial is to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Owosso.
The body will rest at Kribs Colonial Chapel after 6 p.m. today.
The family will be present at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. VanHouten was born in Grand Ledge on March 7, 1913, the daughter of Darwin J. and Nina Belle(Dukes) Baker.
She moved to Shiawassee County in 1955 from Greenville.
She was married to Clifford VanHouten. He died Dec 9, 1974.
Mrs. VanHouten was a waitress and homemaker.
Survivors include: One Daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Sandra) Marek of Stanwood; One Son, Devilo (Butch) VanHouten of Corunna; Six Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren.
