On June 30 1899, she married William Coysh, who had come to Brooklyn from Newfoundland as a child. They had three children, Edward Joseph Coysh, Margaret Coysh, and William J. Coysh.
Nora lived her entire life in Brooklyn. She died of pneumonia, at her home (95 4th Ave, Brooklyn) on April 13, 1911. Her husband, a veteran of the Spanish American War, is buried in Cypress National Cemetery. Although she has always been buried in Holy Cross, her mother arranged for her grave to be moved, so that she is buried next to two of her siblings, Edward and Joseph.
