Services for Carl D Hower, 70, a resident of the Allen County Nursing Home one year, will be at 1 pm Wednesday in South Side Church of the Nazarene, the Rev Wilmer R Watson officiating. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. He died yesterday morning at the nursing home. Mr Hower, a native of Craigville, was employed at General Electric Co before retiring 13 years ago. He was a member of the South Side Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are a son, Donald, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Mrs Harold L Johnston, Kalamazoo, Mich; a sister, Mrs Marie March, Fort Wayne; six brothers, Max, Fort Wayne, James, William and Bruce, Ossian, Owen, in Florida and Charles, in Germany; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
