Tillie Lueckenhoff, 96, of Eldon died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1993 at Jefferson City Manor Care Center in Jefferson City. She was born August 4, 1897 in St. Elizabeth to Stephen and Isabella Herx Plassmeyer.

On April 13, 1921 she was married in St. Elizabeth to Henry G. Lueckenhoff, who died Jan. 8, 1958.

Mrs. Lueckenhoff had been a resident of the Eldon community since 1946. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a life member of the Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Sodality. She was a 24-year member of the Glennon Circle 322, Daughters of Isabella, Jefferson City.

Surviving her are two daughters, Norma Shorter of Eldon and Laurentia Hamacher of Jefferson City; a son, Lawrence S. Lueckenhoff of Navajo Dam, NM,; a brother Emil Plassmeyer of St. Elizabeth; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eldon with Msgr. John Huhmann and the Rev. John Butler officiating. Burial was in Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
