Marlow - Longtime area resident NOLIE NAOMI HOWARD, 70, of Marlow, died Wednesday, May 20, 1992, in a Duncan hospital.
Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Marlow's First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Morrow of Duncan and the Rev. L.V. Youngblood of Plainview, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Mrs. Howard was born March 19, 1922, in Duncan and had lived most of her life in the Marlow-Duncan area. She was a homemaker and had been a dishwasher for the Methodist Church and B&PW in Marlow. She was a member of Marlow's Hilltop Church of God. On May 12, 1936, she married the Rev. William M. Howard in Lawton.
Survivors include her husband of the home; four sons, G.W. Howard, Richard Howard and Allen Howard, all of Marlow, and Carrol Howard of Moore; three daughters, Glenda Hurt and Kathy Christian, both of Marlow, and Margie Pidcock of Duncan; two sisters, Anna Moore of Edmond and Viola Beck of Marlow; 20 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Odell Black, Jim Barton, the Rev. Charles Bernard, Sanford Isham, the Rev. Ron Howard and Rick Hodges.
