MC KINNEY OBSERVE 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Mr and Mrs C.M. McKinney, Orchard Station, quietly celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary Wednesday with a family dinner at their home and during the evening had open house for a number of neighbors and other friends who called.

Married in Shelbyville, Ill., Nov. 13, 1879, Mr and Mrs McKinney lived in the east for 11 years, coming to the west 39 years ago. They lived on the coast for two years and located in Walla Walla 37 years ago, where Mr. McKinney engaged in business, for a number of years conducting a grocery at the corner of First Avenue and Alder Street. He now operates a small grocery and service station at his Orchard Station home.

Fifteen covers were laid last night at the dinner table, which was centered with a bouquet of gold chrysanthemums. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Schaeffer, Frank and Dorothy Schaeffer, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. McKinney, Allen and Ruth McKinney, and Mrs. B.F. Brewer, Charlotte Brewer and Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Hobbs of Spokane.
