She was born on August 3, 1924 in Pana, IL, the daughter of Loren and Irene Wafford Forbes. On April 8, 1952 she married Joseph Sedlacek in Pana, IL and he preceded in death on March 24, 1980.
Mrs. Sedlacek is survived by a son, Mike Sedlacek of Kincaid, IL; two granddaughters, Kedra Eson and husband Jason of Taylorville and Cierra Taylor of Kincaid, IL; Great granddaughter, Emilie Eson of Taylorville; two sisters, June Walley of Chatham, IL and Linda Wirey and husband Merrill of Springfield, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Berry Parkison.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2002 in McClure Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday.
