Born Sept. 28, 1978, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Homer D. Newcomb of Martinsburg and Jacqueline Locke Newcomb of Martinsburg.
He attended Rocky Knoll School, Musselman High School and Martinsburg High School.
He was a member of Martinsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Debbie Sapp of Martinsburg; three brothers, Charles D. Newcomb and William "Tommy" Newcomb, both of Martinsburg, and Allen Lee Newcomb of Hedgesville, W.Va.; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Custer of Martinsburg; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother, who died at his birth, Karen Custer Newcomb.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. Elder Claude Steen will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
