A native of Macon, he was a self-employed artist.
Survivors are his son, Gabe Derry Drury of Jones County, a stepbrother, William Fuller; and two half-sisters, Alicia Hamlett and Grace Holcombe.
Burial was in Bachlott Cemetery.
