GEORGE KOHLER
George Kohler son of Ben and Magdalena Kohler was born March 11th, 1868 in Elgin, Iowa. He passed away at the Apostolic Christian Home May 2nd, 1963, at the age of 95 years. He lived in Iowa until he was married to Sarah Wenger March 17th, 1891. They came to Kansas and settled in the Berwick community where they lived until it was necessary for him to be cared for in a nursing home.

Carl Munz unselfishly and lovingly, cared for the Kohler family for 45 years. One daughter, Lula May was born to the Kohlers. Sarah, Lula and grandson, Melvin preceded George in death. Also five sisters and one brother are deceased. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lillian Carter of Union City, Iowa, nephews, nieces and many friends. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
