Jerry Lynn Hill, Sr., 77 of Dyersburg, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his residence. He was a retired maintenance worker for the Dyersburg City School system. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 5:00 -- 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Guy Merryman officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hayes, Phillip Ray, Jessie Green, Chase Davis, Erik Hayes, and Shane Goff.
He is survived by 2 daughters Cindy Kay Hill of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tammy Hill of Dyersburg, 3 sons Jerry Lynn Hill, Jr. of Friars Point, MS, Shannon Hill of Dyersburg, Jimmy Hill of Memphis, 2 sisters Betty Holland of Dyersburg, Barbara Peles of Newbern, 1 brother Sandy Ray Hill of Newbern, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Hill, 1 son Randy Joe Hill, 2 sisters Sybil McIntosh and Patsy Hill and his parents R.B. and Lorene Stewart Hill.
