Born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 60 years. She was a licensed vocational nurse, retiring from Rideout Memorial Hospital after 25 years of service. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Marysville. She had attended schools in Wanette, Okla., and a graduate of the Yuba College LVN program.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Robert E "Bob" Dahneke Sr of Marysville; three daughters; a son; a brother; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Hodges; a brother, Ralph Laughlin; and two sisters, Verna Fuller and Louise Harper.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm Thursday at Chapel of the Twin Cities, Yuba City. a graveside service will be held at 10 am Friday at Sutter cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave, Sutter.
