AITCHISON, Edna Annie Christine - 68, Tatamagouche, passed away January 26, 1998 in Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche. Born at The Falls, Colchester County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Calvin and Gladys Irene (BAILEY) BAILEY. She trained in nursing at the Grace Maternity Hospital, Halifax. She worked at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche, and the Northumberland Hospital, Pugwash. She later married and helped operate the family farm. She is survived by her husband, Boyd, Tatamagouche; two sons, Jim and his wife Anne, Wentworth; George, Truro; four daughters, Nita (Mrs. Gerry SELLARS), Hilden; Vicki (Mrs. Alan FAHEY), Tatamagouche; Leona and her companion, Greg SMITH, Wentworth; Irene, Guelph; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd, Balmoral Mills; George, Dartmouth; Elmer, New Glasgow; one sister, Eleanor, New Glasgow; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Irene. Arrangements have been entrusted to Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. today, January 28, 1998 in West New Annan United Church, Leland MacLEAN officiating. Spring burial will be in Bell Gift Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to North Shore Health Services Foundation or Willow Lodge.
