Funeral services for Mrs. Samantha Frances Mincy were Sunday, June 15, 1952 at the Church of Christ at Portageville.
She was born February 23, 1874 and died June 14, 1952, at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 21 days.
Ralph Stuery officiated at the services. Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery and German Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband, Andrew Mincy, of Jasper, Alabama, three sons: Jeff of Glenmollen, Ala., frank of Perry, Fla., and Albert of Perryville, Mo.; six daughters: Mrs. Minnie Harbin and Mrs. Ruby Dill of Jasper, Ala., and Mrs. Francis Dill, Mrs. Fannie Tuck, Mrs. Bell Nichols, and Mrs. Kathleen Palmer, all of Perryville, Mo.; three brothers, George, Pinkley and William Millwood, all of Carbon Hill, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Morris of Sumiton, Ala.; 38 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
