Russell E. Durham
Russell E. Durham, 55, of 839 Hilltop Rd., Danville, who had undergone open heart surgery in November, died unexpectedly at 12:30 a.m. today at the home of a son, Donald, in Vicksburg, Miss.
He was the husband of Mrs. Nina J. Durham and had been employed by Corning Glass Works for 22 years. He was a member of the West End Church of Christ. Besides his widow, other survivors include his mother, Mrs. George Johnson of " "Hiistonvillera" daughter, Mrs. Bruce Helm of Perryville; two sons, Donald of Vicksburg and Michael L. Durham of Ft. Thomas; four brothers, Carlos Durham of Clyde, Ohio, William Terrill Durham of West Palm Beach, Fla., Curtis Durham of Stanford, Elvin Durham Jr. of Radcliff; a half-brother, Jack Denny Johnson of Stanford ;a sister, Mrs. William Delk of Ludlow; two half sisters, Mrs. Benny Smith of Hustonville and Mrs. John Dudderer of Newark, Ohio, and three grandchildren.
The body will be brought to Stith Funeral Home where funeral arrangements have not been made. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
