Lewis Earl Cribbs, 95, went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 8, 2008.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Grace Bible Church, 1450 Oak Hill Road in Fort Worth, with Pastors Gregg Bing, Charles Wages and Dr. Jim Scheirling officiating.

Burial: Following the service Lewis will be laid to rest in Arwine Cemetery.

Visitation: The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst.

Memorials: You many honor Lewis with a memorial to Arwine Cemetery, CEF of Fort Worth or Vitas Hospice.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Lewis loved the Lord and his church family. He was a member of Hurst Masonic Lodge 1387 A.F.& A.M. and the Rotary Club of which he was an honored recipent of the Paul Harris award.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he served on the Battleship Indiana and enjoyed attending the reunions and his war buddies. His hobby was his ranch in Albany where he relaxed while working his cattle.

The family would like to thank their friends at Merrill Gardens and Raident Home Health.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Cora Cribbs; and sister, Opal Mason.

Survivors: His loving wife of 73 years, Hattie Belle Cribbs; daughter, Lennie Suggs and her husband, Gary; grandson, Jason Suggs and his wife, Erin; great-granddaughter, Haley Suggs; niece, Sharon Kinder and her husband, Eddie; nephews, Gary Reeves and his wife, Sue and Jim Reeves and his wife, Micah; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
