It may be Joseph and Clara died before 1900, they are not found. There is a Clara Asbury, no dates or information, buried at Round Prairie Cem, Bates Co., thought to be her.
Some of Joseph's siblings are there. There are over 50 unknown graves there.

"Joseph H. Asbury (1855 - )
"ROCKVILLE TOWNSHIP. Joseph H. ASBURY was born in Howard County, Missouri, March 7, 1855, and is the second of six children. His father, George W. Asbury, was a farmer by occupation and a native of Missouri. His mother, whose maiden name was Penitch Bailey, came originally from Virginia. When Joseph was a lad of six years, the family removed to Indiana, where the father died when the son was twelve years old. In 1870 the mother returned to Missouri and settled in Bates County. J. H. continued working on the farm until 1875, when he came to Rockville and engaged in his present business. In 1880 he erected the business house which he now occupies at a cost of $3,000. Mr. Asbury was married, May 6, 1879, to Miss Clara Fagan, a native of Illinois. They have one child, Eddie, born May 7, 1881"
