Michael A. Ackler, 61, formerly of Fulton, NY, passed away January 1, 2014 in Bradford, PA. He had been a resident since 2005. He was born October 6, 1952 in Syracuse, NY, to Evelyn and Robert P. Ackler. Michael is survived by a brother, Andrew (Robin) Ackler of Bradford; two sisters, Sharon (Del) Lounsbery of Central Square, NY, and Marlene (Charles) Gandy of Columbus GA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert B. Ackler. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., May 24, 2014 at the Phoenix Rural Cemetery in Phoenix, NY. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes.
