Hugh Criss Perrine, died at the Sapp Convalescent Home in New Philadelphia Saturday evening at 11 p.m. after a lingering illness. He was a native of Carrollton, his parents being Peter and Nancy May Perrine. He lived for many years in Big Timber, Montana, moving from there to Loraine in 1910 where he operated a barber shop until two years ago when he moved to New Philadelphia.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Perrine, 4 sisters, Mrs. Clara Thompson of Canton Mrs. Anna Conaway of Scio, Mrs. Jennie Stemple and Mary Conaway of Carrollton, and three brothers, Stephen of Big Timber, Harry of Carrollton and Frank of Loraine. Funeral services were held from the Arbaugh Funeral Home Wednesday with Mrs. Nisley of New Philadelphia Christian Science Church officiating. Burial was in Westview.
