Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Edward Jordan, Jr., age 79, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 13, 2014 at Union Hill Baptist Church with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Baker and Rev. Charles Kyzer will officiate.
Mr. Jordan was born December 16, 1934 in Johnson County. He was the son of the late Thomas Edward Jordan, Sr. and Lila Pauline Parker Jordan. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Union Hill Men's Brotherhood. He was retired as a farmer. Mr. Jordan passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at his residence surrounded by loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the funeral home.
The Wrightsville High Class of 1952 and the Union Hill Baptist Church Men's Brotherhood will serve as honorary escorts.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be given to the givers favorite charity.
