Olive L. Arruda, 67, Westport
Olive L. (Manchester) Arruda, 67, of Westport, died peacefully with her family by her side, Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Pontbriand) Manchester.
She had worked for Heritage Assisted Living in Dartmouth for 14 years. Mrs. Arruda loved her gardens and spending her winters in Florida.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, all of Massachusetts and Rhode Island; three sisters, all of Massachusetts; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Aron Arruda and sister of the late Sandra Caouette and George Manchester.
At her request, there will be no funeral services or visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport.
The Sunday Mass on December 1, at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport, will be in her memory.
