Friday at the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years and
was seriously ill since May. Mrs. Coyle was admitted to the hospital after becoming
critically ill Friday morning.
She was born at Mowersville, Pa., July 25, 1884, daughter of the late Abraham and Barbara Wingert Brechbiel. Her early life was lived in Washington County, Md.
She and Mr. Coyle made their home at Pen Mar for a number of years following their marriage.
Mr. Coyle died in 1937.
Mrs. Coyle was employed at the Waynesboro Knitting Company for 10 years. She had made her home at the Waynesboro R.D. 4 residence since 1951.
She was a member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Coyle is survived by these children: Mark B. Coyle, Baltimore; Mrs. Agnes Peters, Waynesboro; Mrs. Rachael Fleagle, Hagerstown R.D. 5; Mrs. Melvin Friese, Waynesboro R.D. 3; Frederick J. Coyle, Waynesboro R. D. 4, and Mrs. Plummer Fraley, Thurmont R. D. 2. Also surviving are 37 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 1Oa.m. Monday in St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church by the Rev. Anthony Burakowski. Burial will be made in the St. Andrew Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Grove Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
