Lloyd Howard Arbogast was born on the family farm near Quinlan, Oklahoma to Howard and Elnora (Paxson) Arbogast. He was reared in Quinlan and graduated from Quinlan High School in 1934. Lloyd attended Oklahoma A&M College. After college, Lloyd returned to Quinlan where he owned and operated a gas station. He was married to "Winnie" Winifred Winters on November 28, 1944 in Enid, OK. They made their home in Quinlan before moving to Woodward, where Lloyd worked for Motor Equipment Company. In 1964, the family moved to Pomona, California and Lloyd worked for Mt. San Antonio College for 20 years where he was an instructor. In 1981 after his retirement they moved to Mooreland where they have resided since that time. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and being on his computer. Winnie and Lloyd spent a lot of time traveling and were able to see many memorable places and things.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Gladys Whitaker and Vera Cooley, grandson W.T. Bender and an infant son, Jimmy Lee.
