SUDDEN DEATH – The numerous friends in Wisconsin of Gerhard Schlichting, Esq., formerly of Sheboygan County, will regret to learn that he died suddenly, of heart disease, at Houghton, Michigan, on the 13th inst. The deceased was one of the pioneers of Sheboygan county and was beloved and respected by all who knew him. His age was 42. He was a brother of Maj. Schlichting, of this village with whom the vererable mother of the deceased resides. The friends have our sympathy in their bereavement.
