Born on a farm north of Savannah, she was a lifelong resident of Andrew County. Mrs. Turner was a member of the First Christian Church in Savannah, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Blair, and her second husband, Donald Turner, in 1970.
Surviving are one stepdaughter, Helen Turner of St Joseph; one stepson, Emmet Turner of Savannah; two sisters, Lola Gillespie and Leota Turner, both of Savannah; two brothers, Chester Adkins and Lloyd Atkins, both of Savannah; five step-grandchildren, 17 step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren."
