OBITUARY MATTIE HECK
Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Heck, 88, of 763 E. Austin St., Giddings were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec 14 at Phillips & Luckey Chapel in Giddings with the Rev. John Karcher officiating. Burial was in the Giddings City Cemetery.
Mrs. Heck died Thursday, Dec 12 at Hennesey Nursing Home in Giddings.
Mrs. Heck was born Sept. 29, 1886 at Giddings, daughter of Adolph Ramsel and Pauline Ramsel. She married Elmo Heck who preceeded her in death in 1942.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Adele Kelley of Garland; a son, Douglas W. Heck of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Lillie [Ramsel] Harzke of Lexington; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
