Funeral service was held Sunday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance for Benjamin 'Dolph' Hanner, 94 years old, of McGee, who died May 13, 1983 at a Poplar Bluff hospital. Burial was in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Lutesville.
Mr. Hanner was born August 24, 1888 at McGee, the son of William and Victoria (Fish) Hanner.
He was a lifelong farmer.
He was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Arab, MO.
He was married January 12, 1913 to Miss Bertha Duniphan, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Melvin Curtis Hanner; a daughter, Mrs. Melva Overton of McGee; a brother, Leonard Hanner of Sturdivant; a sister, Mrs. Dovie Prudeau of Godfrey, IL; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
One son, Elmer, preceded him in death.
