Thelma G. Riggs, 63, formerly a custodian at Northern Kentucky University, died Saturday.
Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda Sue Locke of Colorado Springs, CO; three sons, John Willie Riggs Jr. of Independence, Glen Allen Riggs of Bellevue and David Anthony Riggs of Dry Ridge; two sisters, Jeanette Barton of Jellico, TN and Ruth Riggs of Williamsburg; five brothers, Lawrence Gatliff of Corbin, Howard Gatliff of Owenton and Marshall Gatliff, Arthur Crowley and Archie Crowley, all of Williamsburg; nine grandchildren and threegreat-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10am - 1pm Tuesday at New Testament Missionary Baptist Church, Newport. A service will follow. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Muehlenkamp-Erschell Newport Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
