Born to William Langmaid and Dixie Bridges-Langmaid. On July 15, 1949 she married her "Red Hot Mess" Lee "Edward" Banks.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, one son Conley "Brent" Banks, and two brothers Sam and Bill Langmaid as well as many other beloved friends and family.
