Prayers for Mrs. Pauline Acklen Lockett, 74, member of a prominent Nashville family who died Tuesday at Washington, D. C., will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. Oscar F. Noel, Granny White road and Graybar Lane. The body will arrive at 5:40 p.m. today. Dr. James I. Vance, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will be in charge of the services. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Mrs. Lockett was formerly Miss Pauline Acklen, daughter of the late James Alexander Acklen, and sister of Joseph N. Acklen, prominent Nashville attorney. She was born at the family home which is now War-Belmont College and was active in social and religious work here before her marriage to Mr. Lockett, who is in the brokerage business at Washington. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mr. J. Kaiser, of St. Louis. Pallbearers will be Judge J.B.D. DeBow, Judge John A. Pitts, Jordan Stokes, Sr., Charles C. Trabue, Alfred H. Howell, Thomas H. Malone, Judge Joseph Higgins, W. H. Washington, Albert Akers, Norman Farrell, Judge Robert Ewing, John Noel and W. H. Forde.
