BRODWOLF, Mary L. age 80 of Hamilton died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 27, 1932, the daughter of Roy and Hilda (Glindmeier) King, and was a 1950 graduate of Hamilton High School. On October 25, 1951, in St. Stephens Church she married Robert T. Brodwolf and he preceded her in death on April 14, 1985. Mary was an employee of First National Bank retiring in 1993. Mrs. Brodwolf was a member of St. Ann Church, treasurer of the Ladies of the Hamilton Boat Club, and a member of the Sterling Silvers. Survivors include her son, Douglas R. Brodwolf of West Salem, Ohio; five grandchildren, Douglas, Michael (Megan), Ben, Brandon, and Andrew Brodwolf; a great-grandchild, Hannah Brodwolf; a brother, Richard (Mary) King; a sister, Lois (Tom) Simms. Besides her husband, Robert, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy and William King. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave, with Fr. Tharp officiating, followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice.
