Funeral services for Edythe A. Jennewein, 84, of Wall Lake were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 1988, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Wall Lake. Mrs. Jennewein passed away Friday, December 23, 1988, at Loring Hospital in Sac City, following a prolonged illness.

Music was by organist Mrs. Marlon Snyder and soloist David Anderson. Mrs. Veryl Aschinger and Mrs. WIlliam Dreessen were in charge of floral arrangements.

Pallbearers were Dr. R. M. Hull, Vernon Peters, James Spotts, Daniel Spotts, Jack Verschoor and Elmer Wollesen. Interment was made in Wall Lake Cemetery under the direction of Farber & Otteman Funeral Home of Wall Lake.

Edythe A. Jennewein was born in Battle Creek, Ia., on October 1, 1904, the daughter of Jacob E. and Jessie Crawford Spotts. Following her graduation from high school, she attended Omaha Business School.

Prior to her marriage to J.J. Jennewein on October 31, 1925, she spent one year in Los Angeles, Calif., with her sister, Janet. The Jenneweins resided in Wall Lake for many years.

Mrs. Jennewein was a homemaker, a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Women's organization. She was a former member of the Eastern Star.

Her hobbies included baking, sewing, needlepoint and playing the piano.

Survivors include her husband, J.J. of Wall Lake; three daughters, Maralyn (Mrs. James) Meyer of Campbell, Calif., Shirley (Mrs. John) Shepard of Castro Valley, Calif., and Jessie Joanne (Mrs. P.L.) Kessler of Castro Valley; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers: Alvin, Earl, Daniel, James and Edward; and four sisters: Mary, Janet, Laura and Bertha.
