Myrtle Erdmann, 88, formerly of Pittsville, died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home, Port Edwards, where she had lived since May, 1973.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at United Church of Christ, Pittsville. The Rev. Olaf Andersen will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville.
Mrs. Erdmann, the former Myrtle Moore, was born Aug. 7, 1892, in Pittsville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Moore. She married Otto Erdmann in 1912 in Pittsville. He died Sept. 5, 1950. They farmed in the town of Hansen until moving to Pittsville in 1940. She was a member of United Church of Christ and Pittsville Senior Citizens.
Survivors include: two stepdaughters, Elma Karloske, Wisconsin Rapids; and Laura Kangas, Franklin; two sons, Carl, Franklin; and Richard, Markesan; eight daughters, Evelyn Andreasen, Wisconsin Rapids; Isabelle Dahlke and Beatrice Gardner, both of Arpin; Deloris Raabe and Lois Brownson, both of Milwaukee; Ruby Haumschild, Tucson, Ariz.; Orion Brownson, Neillsville; and Mary Eppers, Racine; 39 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Augusta Bradford, Marinette, and Alice Isbel, Sun Prairie. Four sisters, three brothers, two daughters, two stepsons and one grandson preceded her in death.
