He was born Sept. 17, 1949, in Centreville, Mich., and lived in Millersburg for 10 years, moving there from Topeka. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in the Vietnam War.
Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Dawn) Brown of Bristol, Angela F. HOCHSTETLER of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Diana L. HOCHSTETLER of Wawaka; and a son, Christopher M. HOCHSTETLER, LaGrange; two grandchildren; his parents, Albert L and Lizzie (BONTRAGER) HOCHSTETLER, Sturgis, Mich.; five brothers, Amos A. HOCHSTETLER of Milford, William A. HOCHSTETLER of Sturgis; Alvin A. HOCHSTETLER of Goshen, Levi A. HOCHSTETLER of Elizabethton, Tenn., Freeman A. HOCHSTETLER of Sturgis, LeeRoy A. HOCHSTETLER of Constantine and Ray A. HOCHSTETLER of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel HOCHSTETLER in 1985.
Services are at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home of Goshen with Pastor Gene Troyer of the Maple Grove Church of Topeka officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.
