Bobby Gene Tate, 72, died January 7, 2014. He was born February 14, 1941 in Parma, Missouri to Claude and Allie (Hamilton) Tate. He married Virginia Ann Walker, July 23, 1967 in Grundy, VA. He worked in construction as a painter and on machinery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, daughter, Anita Baker, and grandson, Brian Baker. Bobby was survived by his granddaughter, Angela Baker, of Bethany, Oklahoma, and numerous other family members and friends. Viewing was held on Friday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services were at noon on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
