Freeman, and Great Grandson, Marshall Whittle.
Step-Daughter, Saundra June Freeman, Daughter, Dorothy J. Ruch, Step daughter-in-law, Jane Snyder, Brother, John Frederick Gurtler, Sister, Dorothy May Glaze, 6 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Carl was a Corporal in the United States Army a WWII Veteran from January 19, 1948 through May 9, 1952. He was a musician for many years. He played the saxophone, clarinet, and flute.
He specialized in Big Band. Carl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed! Til we see you again..... Love all of us!!
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. Burial will be Tuesday, January 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
