Mrs. Gladys M. Kettle, 78, of Route 4, Edgerton, died Saturday in Edgerton Hospital.
Born Dec. 18, 1903, in Leyden, the former Gladys Tobin married Cornelius H. Kettle on Nov. 8, 1921, in Rockford, Ill. He died on July 16, 1963.
A rural Edgerton resident sinse 1950, Mrs. Kettle had formerly lived in Janesville. She had been employed by Rock River Woolen Mills and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Edgerton.
Surviving is a stepson, Walter Kettle of Edgerton; a brother, Raymond Tobin of Janesville; and three sisters, Marguerite Schumacher, Madeline Anderson and Frances Fanning, all of Janesville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Edgerton, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Janesville. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Overton Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
