Mrs. Etta Boring, who had resided on Wellston, Route 2, for many years, died Sunday at 6 p, m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Deal, Columbus, where she had lived for the last three years. Infirmities and complications resulting from a hip injury sustained In a fall last week were given as cause of death. Mrs. Boring was the widow of John Boring. Two daughters and two sons survive: Mrs. Bert Deal and Mrs. Herbert Potts, Columbus; Harley Boring, Columbus, and Emmitt Boring, Jackson. Services were Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Zion -United Brethren church, Wellston Route 2. Burial was in Ridgewood cemetery under the direction of A. B. C. Leach of Columbus.

Henrietta Baker Boring died Oct 30, 1938 in Franklin County, Ohio. She was born in Gallia County in 1852, the daughter of Henry A Baker and Rebecca Arnot Robinson. She was united in marriage to John V Boring on August 29, 1875 in Vinton County, Ohio.
They were the parents of the following known children:

Charles Emmett Boring (1880–1952)
Ruth Boring (1884–1961)
Myrta Myrtie Boring (1888–1961)
Harley Elmer Boring (1892–1956)
