Tuesday Rites Set For Lloyd Parrish - OQUAWKA —
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Lugg Memorial Chapel at Monmouth for Lloyd 11 Parrish, 51, Oquawka, who died at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Monmouth Hospital where he had been a patient a week. The Rev. A. C. Hickerson will officiate and burial will be in the Center Grove Cemetery, Kirkwood. Friends may call at the chapel. Mr. Parrish was born March 19, 1902, at Gorin, Mo. He married Miss Sally Tibbs in September, 1942, at Memphis, Mo. They resided on a farm near Granger, Mo., until seven years ago when they moved to Oquawka. He had been a painter since living in Oquawka. Surviving are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Leta Pullen and Mrs. Hazel McDavid, and a brother, Vancil Parrish, all of Oquawka; and another brother, Jess, Burlington.
