"Daisy Mae Darrenkamp, 98, of Mount Joy, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Hauck) Harnish Wettig. Daisy was the wife of the late Harry B. Darrenkamp who died in 1992.

Daisy was a member of Chiques United Methodist Church in Mount Joy. She worked at Hamilton Watch Company and later retired from AMP, Inc.

Daisy is survived by her daughter, Joanne Yohn wife of James of Manheim. Also surviving are two grandsons, James and Edward Yohn, four great grandchildren, two great great grandsons, and two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Wettig, both of ­Lancaster.

A Funeral Service honoring Daisy's Life will be held at Pleasant View Retirement Community Hoffer Auditorium, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at 11 A.M. Family and friends will be received at the Hoffer Auditorium from 10 A.M.-11 A.M. Interment will follow at Neffsville Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Chiques United Methodist Church, 1215 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
