Rev. Hiram Calib Adams,82, of Bridgeton, went home to be with the lord peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his residence. Born in Washington, D.C. to the late Rev. Benjamin and Lena Adams he was a construction laborer for Local #222 until he retired.

Rev. Adams was a member of the Union Baptist Temple, Bridgeton NJ where he was an Ordained Minister of the gospel. Rev. Adams was the former Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church, Egg Harbor, NJ, he was known for always helping people, he was inducted into the SJ Black Hall of Fame, he enjoyed Bar-B-Q's he was known for his ribs (Adams Ribs), he loved his dogs, hunting, fishing, and he was also known for his being able to make the sounds of a dog barking, a rooster, ect…, he just always had encouraging words for people, he knew no stranger.
