Harry D. Acheson
Harry D. Acheson, 73, of 319 Market Street, Donora, died early this morning in Monongahela Memorial Hospital after having suffered a heart attack Tuesday.
Mr. Acheson was born in Gastonville, May 30, 1886, and had lived in Donora since 1914.
He was a retired conductor on the Donora Southern Railroad.
His wife Mary Emma preceded him in death in January of 1952.
Survivors include a son, Eugene Acheson of Belle Vernon RD 2; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Martha) Engel of Donora and Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Tuttle of Wyandotte, Michigan; two brothers, Robert Acheson of Dusquene and James Acheson of McKeesport; a sister, Mrs. Ella Fulton of Sewickley; and two grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Richard E. Lawson Funeral Home, 701 Thompson Avenue, Donora.
