The much beloved Episcopalian priest, Reverend Compton Allyn, recently passed away.

Some have suggested that he be entitled The Reverend Canon, while others have indicated The Reverend Dr. as the correct episcopalian title. His church, Christ Cathedral, 4th Street, Cincinnati could assist you with this.

Clues:

1. Importantly, he was named as the son of Charles S. Allyn, as suggested in the Cinti Enq. Dec 2013 obit. But, his father, is named instead or in the alternative, as "Stanley Charles Allyn" in an authoritative 2 Nov 1970 NYTimes article by Burton Lindheim. Thanks to Nadine who transcribed that article in a Madison Wisconsin Central High School blogspot! Yes, that article was verified via checking the NY Times Archives. His father seems to be fagr 6390173, but he (the father) still lacks a burial location- please add one should you know, after which a parental link may be added.

2. Compton's first wife, is named in his obit as Elizabeth P. Allyn (d.1990). It is unknown if she may be fagr 89814329.
